About the provider

Camp HOPE was founded in September 1989 and was the first camp for grieving children in Wisconsin and one of the few in existence across the nation. Becky Kraemer Loy is the founder, and Maria Loy Carson is the Executive Director. The site says Camp HOPE supports all who are doing the necessary work to dismantle systems of oppression and to fight against racial injustice in their communities.

Camp is free of charge. Registration forms must be completed to attend. Late registrations are accepted up until 2 days prior to camp. Youth campers can attend without an adult, but adult camp is not offered to individuals without children attending.
