Bookworm Gardens offers summer camps, Nature School, field trips, workshops, tours, and beloved events for all ages. Children can explore the gardens and even dig for dinosaur bones as one of the activities. Bookworm Gardens is open May through October.

Over 25 years ago, Sandy Livermore had the idea to bring books to life one garden at a time, which led to the creation of Bookworm Gardens. Bookworm Gardens opened in 2010. Its mission is to inspire the love of books and nature in the young and young at heart. Bookworm Gardens is a grassroots non-profit organization where thousands of people have volunteered over the past twenty years. Bookworm Gardens is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation.
