About
Sheboygan County 4-H offers a wide range of activities throughout the year, including Winter Leadership Camp, Project Day, various camps such as Base/Outpost Camp and Cloverbud Day Camp, and events like the Fine Arts Festival and Arts Camp. Youth can take part in specific project areas and events such as Animal/Shooting Sports/Blacksmithing, a Photo Contest, YQCA, ArtBeat!, Summer Academy, Outpost/Basecamp at Upham Woods, a New Member/Cloverbud Day Camp, an Open House/Enchanted Forest, and an Awards Banquet. The program also includes options like Record Books/Portfolios, Awards, Recognition & Trips, scholarships and grants, fundraising and donations, an Alumni Association, 4-H signs, 4-H hats for sale, and an online store where 10% of purchases go directly to the organization.

Sheboygan County 4-H is the youth education outreach program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Extension. The program uses project-based learning and youth-adult partnerships, where both youth and adults increase life skills and grow as leaders. It maintains a Monthly Events Calendar with county and state-wide events and has an Instagram presence for event reminders, program updates, behind-the-scenes moments, and photos from camps and activities. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
The leadership team includes a 4-H Program Educator, Sarah Feider. The University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension provides equal opportunities in employment and programming in compliance with state and federal law. Community involvement is reflected in its role as a youth education outreach program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Division of Extension.
Youth members describe their experiences with statements such as, “The blacksmithing team always helped me find a way to make my ideas happen no matter how wild or crazy they were,” and, “Some 4-H leaders have helped to encourage me to try new projects that I maybe wouldn’t have chosen to do that are now some of my favorite projects.” Other youth members say, “They (adult leaders) support me with my interests and help me achieve my goals,” and, “I am more confident when talking in front of people due to being president and talking in front of my club every month.”
