Boys & Girls Clubs of West-Central Wisconsin offers a wide range of enriching programs and activities that focus on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and life skills. Through mentorship and guidance, the program works with youth to build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging. The organization is currently enrolling youth for its summer programs.

Founded in 2000 in Tomah, Boys & Girls Clubs of West-Central Wisconsin has served youth in Sauk, Columbia, and Monroe Counties for 24 years. The Boys & Girls Club of Baraboo/Sauk County was founded in September 2001, and in 2009 the Tomah and Baraboo/Sauk County clubs merged and adopted the name Boys & Girls Club of West Central Wisconsin. The Reedsburg club opened in 2017 in an old hardware store, and its current downtown Reedsburg location opened in 2018. The Portage (City) club opened in May 2023. The organization’s mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive, and to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The organization reports that 93% of its members are on track to graduate high school, 75% of its members plan to obtain a college degree after high school, and 87% of its members report getting to explore new things at the club. Boys & Girls Clubs of West-Central Wisconsin serves youth in Sauk, Columbia, and Monroe Counties and strives to be an out-of-school time provider of choice across rural Wisconsin. The Portage (City) club was opened in partnership with the Portage Community School District, and by 2018 the local community and city support expanded capacity and opened the current club in downtown Reedsburg.
