Youth & Family Programs and Summer Day Camps offers Summer Day Camp, Specialty Camp, and a variety of sports programs, including Sports Leagues, Sports Programs, Cheer & Dance, and Gymnastics. The program also includes Seasonal Family Events, Parents Night Out, Babysitting Classes, Home Alone & Stranger Danger Classes, Preschool, 4K & Extended Care at the Y, Before and After School Care, and Schools Out Fun Day. Additional offerings include Group Exercise Classes, Cycling Classes, FOREVERWELL® Classes, Personal Training, Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring, Cooking Demonstrations, Diabetes Prevention, Moving for Better Balance, Swim Lessons, Swim Leagues, Lifeguard & Safety Certifications, Aquatic Exercise Programs, wellness challenges and presentations, Nutrition Coaching, and Body Composition Testing.

• Schedule: Moving For Better Balance includes a 12-week Tai Chi course.
Sports programs vary throughout the year and range from ages 2–12, with goals of building self confidence, socializing, sharing, and teamwork. Cheer & Dance offerings are available from ages 1–13+. Gymnastics programs have age ranges from 0–12. Seasonal family events range from holiday events to creative workshops. Parents Night Out (Y Nights) provides supervised activities for children while parents get a night off. Schools Out Fun Day offers full-day childcare at all five branch locations when schools are closed. Summer Day Camp offerings are available for ages 4–6, 5–13, and 7–13. Mukwonago YMCA Mud Run is a 2-mile run featuring muddy obstacles, family-friendly inflatables, and photo stations. GWC YMCA Partners Golf Outing includes 18 holes of golf, lunch before a shotgun start, and a 19th Hole Reception with dinner, auction items, and prizes. Circle of Impact Sip & Support includes a tasting experience featuring local wines, craft beers, and spirits.
Personal Training is provided by nationally certified personal trainers. Babysitting Classes and Home Alone & Stranger Danger Classes are taught by certified instructors. Lifeguard & Safety Certifications are taught by certified instructors. Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program support is provided by trained ambassadors. Wellness Presentations are delivered by Healthy Living Instructors.
The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County collaborates with the Mukwonago Area School District and the School District of Waukesha to provide 4K to children. The YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign directs 100% of gifts toward impact in the community. The mission of the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
