Wausau Conservatory of Music

Wausau Conservatory of Music offers private lessons in over 17 instruments for all ages and abilities. It also offers group classes, choirs, camps, ensembles, early childhood programs for birth to 8 years, Harmony Hive Children’s & Youth Choir for ages 8-13, string ensembles for elementary, middle, high school, and adult students, music appreciation for all ages, and summer camps for middle and high school students.

• Vocal Choirs — 8-13 years · Harmony Hive Children’s & Youth Choir.
• String Ensembles — Elementary, middle, high school, and adult students · Includes Granite Repertoire Orchestra of Wausau (GROW), Wausau Area Youth Symphony (WAYS), and Ukulele Choir.
• Music Appreciation — All ages · Explores elements and pieces of music through aesthetic and historical perspectives.
• Summer Camps — Middle and high school students · Available for all experience levels.

About the provider

The mission of the Wausau Conservatory of Music is to provide exceptional music education and performances that enrich the lives of students, families, faculty, and the community. The conservatory has provided over $70,000 in tuition assistance, fulfilled 100% of tuition assistance requests, given over 5,000 contact hours through free community programs, and offers more than 30 free concerts, programs, and events each year.

Tuition and fees must be paid, or payment arrangements made, before a student begins a lesson, class, or ensemble. Students are not considered registered until payment has been made. Tuition is charged for the full semester; payment plans are available. All additional fees are non-refundable. The conservatory offers financial assistance and scholarships for students.
