Youth & Family Programs – YMCA of Greater Waukesha County includes activities such as group exercise classes, cycling classes, personal training, swim lessons, swim leagues, aquatic exercise programs, sports leagues and sports programs, cheer and dance, and gymnastics. The program also offers seasonal family events, Parents Night Out (Y Nights), babysitting classes, Home Alone & Stranger Danger classes, Summer Day Camps, Specialty Camps, preschool, 4K & Extended Care at the Y, Before and After School Care, and Schools Out Fun Day. Additional offerings include the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, cooking demonstrations, the Diabetes Prevention Program, Moving For Better Balance (a 12-week Tai Chi course), lifeguard and safety certifications, wellness challenges, wellness presentations, nutrition coaching, body composition testing, and YMCA Corporate Membership.

Group exercise classes require advanced registration. FOREVERWELL® classes are available for ages 55 and up. Sports programs range from ages 2–12 with goals of building self confidence, socializing, sharing and teamwork. Cheer and dance programming is offered from ages 1–13+. Gymnastics programs have age ranges from 0–12. Seasonal family events include holiday events and creative workshops. Parents Night Out provides supervised activities while parents get a break. Schools Out Fun Day offers full-day childcare at all five branch locations when schools are closed. Summer Day Camp options include sessions for ages 4–6, 5–13, and 7–13, and Specialty Camps are offered for ages 7–13.

National certified personal trainers lead personal training. Lifeguard and safety certifications, babysitting classes, and Home Alone & Stranger Danger classes are taught by certified instructors. The Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program includes support from trained ambassadors. The Diabetes Prevention Program is led by a lifestyle coach. Wellness presentations are provided by Healthy Living Instructors.

The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County collaborates with the Mukwonago Area School District and the School District of Waukesha to provide 4K to children. The YMCA Corporate Membership program includes a complimentary one week trial membership for employees, one annual complimentary wellness presentation for employees, and can include monthly tracking of employee usage and on-site membership sign-up opportunities at employer locations. In the YMCA Corporate Membership program, partner companies provide a monthly membership subsidy and the Y matches 50% of the employer subsidy up to $10 per month. The corporate membership program is offered in conjunction with the majority of YMCAs throughout the state of Wisconsin.
