Youth & Family Programs – YMCA of Greater Waukesha County offers a wide range of activities, including group exercise classes, cycling classes, personal training, and aquatic options such as swim lessons, swim leagues, lifeguard and safety certifications, and aquatic exercise programs. The program also includes sports leagues and sports programs, cheer and dance, gymnastics, seasonal family events, Parents Night Out (Y Nights), babysitting classes, Home Alone & Stranger Danger classes, and several summer day camp and specialty camp options. Families can also access wellness-focused offerings such as the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, cooking demonstrations, the Diabetes Prevention Program, Moving For Better Balance (a 12-week Tai Chi course), wellness presentations, wellness challenges, nutrition coaching, and body composition testing, along with preschool, 4K & Extended Care at the Y, Before and After School Care, and Schools Out Fun Day.

Personal trainers in Youth & Family Programs – YMCA of Greater Waukesha County are nationally certified, and babysitting classes, Home Alone & Stranger Danger classes, and lifeguard and safety certifications are taught by certified instructors. The mission of the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. The YMCA of Greater Waukesha County collaborates with the Mukwonago Area School District and the School District of Waukesha to provide 4K to children, and proceeds from the Tri County YMCA Sport Shoot benefit the Tri County YMCA’s Annual Support Campaign. Sports programs vary throughout the year for ages 2–12, cheer and dance programming is offered from ages 1–13+, and gymnastics programs have age ranges from 0–12. Summer Day Camp options are available for ages 4–6, 5–13, and 7–13, and YMCA Specialty Camps are offered for ages 7–13. Schools Out Fun Day offers full-day childcare at all five branch locations when schools are closed.
Through its corporate membership program, the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County works with partner companies that provide employees a monthly membership subsidy, and the Y matches 50% of the employer subsidy up to $10 per month. The Y provides corporate partners’ employees with a complimentary one week trial membership and one annual complimentary wellness presentation delivered in-person, virtually, or via pre-recorded presentations. Upon request, the Y can provide monthly tracking of employee usage for corporate partners and can offer on-site membership sign-up opportunities at employer locations. The corporate membership program is offered in conjunction with the majority of YMCAs throughout the state of Wisconsin.
