The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County offers before and after school programs that include sports leagues and time for homework help. The program includes character building experiences through social, educational, and recreational experiences for youth in Washington County. Members have time set aside Monday through Thursday at each club location to work on homework.
• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Membership covers every day after school during the current school year, plus day hours from 10am to 5pm for the appropriate club
• Price: Financial assistance is available to those that meet requirements
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County is to enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens, and to do this through character building experiences offered to youth in Washington County. The organization invites community members to be volunteers at the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County. One parent, Pam Berres, describes the KES Boys and Girls Club as having leaders, fun activities, different clubs, and homework help, and notes that her son enjoys his mornings at the club and likes to arrive early.
