Gardner Dam Adventure Base offers activities such as whitewater kayaking and rafting, a climbing tower, high ropes course, COPE and climbing, bouldering, mountain biking, hiking, nature hikes, and waterfront activities including swimming and boating. The program also includes shooting sports with BB guns and archery, fly fishing, campfires, chapel, Dutch Oven cooking, a leader Dutch Oven cook off, theme-related projects and activities, STEM activities, NOVA awards, SCOUTStrong, and various trainings. Units attending camp need to provide their own tents.

• Schedule: Webelos/Arrow of Light Summer Camp is a 3-night/4-day resident camp, and Scouts BSA and Venturing Scouts attend a 6-night/6-day outdoor adventure
• Price: Webelos/Arrow of Light 2026 pricing is $285 per youth and $175 per adult, and Scouts BSA 2026 pricing is $415 per youth and $210 per adult, with a $15 non-refundable deposit per participant applied toward the camp invoice and a $25 per person late charge for registrations on or after June 1, 2026
Bay-Lakes Council Camps, including Gardner Dam Adventure Base, meet and exceed standards set by the Boy Scouts of America, the American Canoe Association, and the National Rifle Association, and Gardner Dam Adventure Base receives annual accreditation as a Cub Scout Resident Camp. Each camp has a trained team, with key staff certified through a National Camp School hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, and all camp staff complete at least a week and a half of training on customer service, program delivery, safety, and other specialties. The leadership team for Gardner Dam Adventure Base includes Camp Director Kollen Kellner, Council Program Support Representative Celina Smith, and Camp Program Director Mydasia Zipperer. The stated mission is to engage guests by delivering quality, innovative, “Life on the Edge” experiences that support the mission of the Bay-Lakes Council.
