Bay-Lakes Council Scouting Programs include Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts, and Exploring. The Scouting experience is divided into these five programs according to age and activities, with Cub Scouting for youth in grade levels K–5th, Scouts BSA for youth ages 11–17, Venturing for coed ages 14–20, Sea Scouts for coed ages 14–20, and Exploring for coed ages 10–20.

• Schedule: Weekday daytime office hours at the Bay-Lakes Council Center for Scouting and weekday and Saturday retail hours at the Bay-Lakes Scout Shop
The Bay-Lakes Council states that it exists to provide children with a safe space where they can explore their craving for excitement, and its mission is to engage guests by delivering quality, innovative, and “Life on the Edge” experiences that support the mission of the Bay-Lakes Council. The council provides programs and services to over 5,400 youth in 22 counties in Eastern Wisconsin, supported by over 3,000 adult volunteers. It has 123 Cub Scout Packs, 163 Scouts BSA Troops, 16 Venture Crews, and 5 Explorer Posts. The Bay-Lakes Council reports that its camps host over 5,000 campers during the summer months and even more in the fall, winter, and spring, and that it has some of the best camps in the country with first class programs to match the facilities. Curbside pick-up is available by appointment at the National/Bay-Lakes Scout Shop.
