Camp Joy is a year-round ministry that offers a multitude of camps, conferences, and retreats for all ages. Each camp’s schedule reserves daily quiet time for guests to spend with God in His Word and includes speakers who carefully study the Bible to proclaim the truths found there. The program emphasizes godly mentors, wholesome fun, and personal time in God’s Word, and offers over 65 different recreational activities with comfortable, home-like accommodations.

Camp Joy’s mission is pointing campers to the Word of God, and it is a ministry founded on the Word of God that remains true to the Word and is dedicated to serving as an extension of local churches. It functions as a spiritual greenhouse, filtering out everyday pressures and creating an ideal environment for spiritual growth. Camp Joy offers over 65 different recreational activities on 65 acres and a 650-acre lake. The ministry began in 1959 when Pastor John Loggans envisioned a Baptist youth camp for local Baptist churches, purchased its first 21 acres in 1961, added more land in later years, and opened its doors to youth of all ages in June 1962; in 1976, the board of directors decided the camp needed a full-time director. The current Camp Joy Director is John Moore.
