They also gain experience in educational design and implementation, youth ministry planning and implementation, event planning, working with children and teens, working with individuals with developmental disabilities, and outdoor/environmental education. At the end of the internship, interns receive a signed certificate and a detailed packet of the training identifying the competencies gained over the course of the summer.
