Classes follow a structured format that can include an Affirmation, Social Greeting, Foundations, Milestone, Move & Learn, Performance, Competition, and an Award Ceremony. KidStrong also offers KidStrong Camp, where kids take part in camp sessions described as including lifelong friendships, new skills, confidence-building, and unforgettable memories.

• Ages: 1–11 years old
• Schedule: Membership includes one weekly 45-minute class, with 45-minute classes offered every week. Parents join class on the floor with kids under 4 years old.

KidStrong describes its curriculum as weekly 45-minute, age-appropriate classes that focus on three pillars: Character, Physical, and Cognitive. All classes are described as structured 45-minute programs rather than free-play like a playdate. KidStrong does not provide medical services, does not accept insurance, and states that it cannot guarantee that a child will learn how to fly.

KidStrong states that its mission is to build strong, confident, and high-character kids and to help kids win at life by developing a strong body, mind, and character through weekly 45-minute classes led by expert coaches. The program describes everything it does as based on a Whole Child Philosophy that focuses on Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind, and notes that kids can rank up, unlock new responsibilities, and celebrate progress along the way.

KidStrong describes its centers as clean, modern centers and describes itself as parent-focused and the only kids’ program described as parent-focused with certified and professional coaches. Coaches are described as expert, highly trained, well trained and highly skilled, specially trained, compassionate leaders, and all coaches are described as certified and professional. Programming is described as science-based and designed by child development experts, and KidStrong states that it is guided by a group of experts, child development scientists, and coaches.

KidStrong lists members of its leadership and expert team as Matt & Megin Sharp, Founders; Morgan Johnson, Sr. Manager, Training & Certification; Ramon Williams, Senior Programming Specialist; Randy Nguyen, Programming Specialist; Patti Eubanks, Preschool & Kindergarten Director; Patrick Ford, Doctor of Physical Therapy; and Dr. Julie Foucher, MD, Family Physician and 4x CrossFit Games Competitor. KidStrong was founded in 2015, and the original business plan was written on a tablecloth at Ted's Montana Grill in Lexington, Kentucky. KidStrong reports that there are now more than 160 locations serving more than 65,000 kids per week and that it celebrated its 100th center opening with franchisee Barb Volk in Plantation, Florida.

Based on a parent survey conducted in September 2023, KidStrong reports that 96% of surveyed parents see an increase in self-confidence, 88% notice an improvement in social skills, and 85% say KidStrong is more enjoyable than other programs. Parent testimonials describe experiences such as kids learning how to participate, listen, be a good teammate, and practice patience; kids becoming more brave with activities that others their age might be scared to do; and kids becoming less shy and more confident over time. Several parents mention kids coming out of their shells, including children described as shy, anxious, or Covid-babies, and one parent notes that a child with speech delay became more motivated and began putting effort into learning words and other skills.
