Arizona Budōkan Martial Arts Programs

Arizona Budōkan Martial Arts Programs offers training in Karate, Aikido, Kobudo, Sword, Toyama-ryū iaidō, Shinkendō, and Real Self Defense. The program takes place at a dedicated martial arts training facility and dojo and focuses on rich, detailed instruction of traditional Budō arts. It is a unique school in Phoenix offering four complete martial arts systems: Karate, Aikido, Kobudo, and Sword, and is described as the dojo of choice for serious practitioners both locally and worldwide.

For nearly five decades, Arizona Budōkan has hosted world-class martial arts masters from Japan and around the world and is noted as one of the oldest and most distinguished martial arts training facilities in the Southwest. Each art is taught by world-class instructors with over a century of combined martial arts experience. The Chief Instructor, Rudy Crosswell Shihan, is internationally acclaimed as one of the most accomplished and versatile martial artists in the world today, is a second-generation student of the founder of Shitō-ryū, is a lifelong practitioner of Okinawan kobudō and Japanese sword, and has trained consistently with dozens of legendary masters for over half a century.
