Early Education Cooperative Preschool offers the Desert Doves Toddler Program, the Hummingbirds Preschool Program, the Owls PreK program, and a Parent & Me Class. The program also offers daily extended day options called Early Birds, Lunch Bunch, and Stay & Play.

About the provider

Early Education Cooperative Preschool has been operating since 1961. It follows a play-based education model and a cooperative model. Parents are actively engaged in classroom activities and agree to serve as a classroom volunteer twice each month on average, provide classroom snacks once each month on average, participate in at least two of three community work days, serve on a parent committee, provide additional support tasks, participate in parent meetings, and join community building events.

• Early Birds — Mon-Fri, 8:00-9:00 · $50 per month · Optional hour of care before the morning classes begin.
• Lunch Bunch — Mon-Fri, 12:00-1:00 · $50 per month · Children bring their own lunch; drop-in option available, space permitting.
• Stay & Play — Mon-Fri, 1:00-3:00 · $70 per month · Offered for students enrolled in Lunch Bunch; drop-in option may be available, space permitting.

Enrollment is based on availability and taken throughout the year. Children in Desert Doves and Hummingbirds do not need to be potty trained. Students enrolled in the pre-k class do need to be potty trained. Scholarships are in the form of tuition reduction/discount; maximum discounts are 50% of tuition and fees. Tuition discounts are for morning preschool programs only.
