Great Arizona Puppet Theater

Great Arizona Puppet Theater offers shows and events for children and adults, along with field trips and tours, parties and private events, and study guides. The theater is open year round and performs shows Thursday through Sunday, with show times on Thursday and Friday at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

About the provider

Great Arizona Puppet Theater was founded in 1983 as a touring company. Its mission is to advance and promote the art of puppetry, celebrate Arizona’s culture, heritage, and ecology through puppetry, educate children and their families, and make a positive impact on Arizona’s cultural climate. It has been named The New Times "Best Entertainment for Kids" and "Best Children's Theater," and it has received the Governor's Heritage Honor Award for Historic Preservation in 2019.
