Saavi Services for the Blind offers Ability Builds Confidence, a free program for people new to vision loss or who want to learn more about the blindness community. - Comprehensive Blindness Training — Full-time training schedule; average of 9 months to complete; 40 hour week · Adult training program for blind individuals. Typically involves 9 core classes.
- Adult Services — Comprehensive blindness training for adult training participants.
- Senior Services — 55+ · Independent Living Blind program for adults ages 55+ who are not seeking employment.
- Children Services (R.E.A.L.) — Children Services, also known as R.E.A.L. (Reaching Empowerment and Achievement through Learning).
- Youth & Transition Services — Year round · Youth and transition services happen year round.
- Education & Employment Services — Prepares students to be job ready and offers services to assist clients in obtaining a post-secondary education, vocational certification, or GED.
