Art and Sol Performing Arts Program

The Art and Sol Performing Arts Program is an after-school program for children in kindergarten through 10th grade. It includes auditions, weekly classes, and performances, and every child gets a part in the shows. Classes begin in September, and performance week is in January at the KROC Performing Arts Center.

About the provider

The program is described as celebrating 24 years of stars, and the source also states 22 years. Its mission statement is, "Every child feels like a star." Tuition covers classes, script, props and sets for the show, a digital download video, and professional photos of the final performance.

No experience is okay. Every child is guaranteed a part in the play. Children can register for Early, Late, or Either cast. If happy with being in the Ensemble, they do not have to audition, but they must be registered. Audition Workshops are not required. A $150 deposit is required with registration; the balance can be paid during the first week of classes or over four months with automatic credit card payment. Deposits are not refunded if cancelled one week before classes begin or after classes begin; credit may be held for a future session.
