Peaceful Warrior Martial Arts & Healing Center offers karate, including traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate, along with kata, self-defense techniques, Kobudo, jujitsu, kickboxing, and Aikido. The program includes the Little Warriors Program, a Tournament and Demo Team, a Karate Birthday Party option, and specialized offerings such as a Women’s Self-Defense Workshop, a Corporate Self-Defense Program, and a Girls Empowerment Course. Its base is traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate, one of the oldest systems from Okinawa, Japan, and it offers a distinctive Kobudo program where students may earn separate ranking. The center includes an exclusive ME Program (Mental & Martial Enrichment) for children and families affected by ADD/ADHD; this martial arts-based program was co-designed by a world-renowned psychologist and assists with the mental and physical development of children afflicted with ADD and ADHD, aiming to improve mental focus, self-control, school performance and relationships.
The Tournament and Demo Team at Peaceful Warrior Martial Arts & Healing Center has been rated #1 in Arizona and #4 in the nation. Peaceful Warrior actively participates in tournaments on local, national and world levels and provides demonstrations throughout the valley to support their communities. The Peaceful Warrior Demo Team is available for presentations for schools, churches, parties and more, and Karate Birthday Parties are described as including everything from set-up to clean-up.
