The Teen Academies are described as a premier teen program where teens live like college students at leading university campuses. The organization offers Online Private Lessons in addition to in-person Summer Camps and Teen Academies. Courses are powered by iconic partners and exclusive curriculum.

Instructors come from universities such as Stanford and NYU, and some instructors include a game design guru from EA and a software engineering undergraduate at Caltech. The organization has a work-from-home culture for staff with no commutes and no cubicles. Over 50,000 girls have graduated from the camps and academies.

The family behind iD Tech Camps and Teen Academies pioneered the first tech camps for kids and teens in 1999. The program has grown from 280 students per year to 50,000 students per year and notes a 25-year legacy in STEM education. The leadership team includes mother and daughter co-founders Kathryn and Alexa Ingram-Cauchi, first CEO Pete Ingram-Cauchi, and CEO Tana Barton Haas.

The stated mission is to create life-changing tech experiences that embolden students to shape the future. The organization will offer more scholarships than ever before this year to students from underserved communities. It is referred to as the nation’s original and most trusted youth STEM educator for kids and teens, described as the world’s go-to summer STEM educator, described as the world’s largest and most trusted tech program, and described as the number one-rated tech camp. Families can access payment plans at checkout, automatic $50 savings when adding courses or siblings (excluding Online Private Lessons), and a Refer-a-Friend program that provides $25 credit per new referral (excluding Online Private Lessons).
