The program’s mission statement describes FlexWork Sports as an industry leader in youth sports experiences, with camps that go beyond drills and practices and focus on creating an experience that will be remembered. The mission states that the organization brings together professional athletes, rising stars, and trusted coaches, with goals that include raising the bar for youth sports camps worldwide, providing access to stars and role models, creating moments that shape players and people, and building a community where families, athletes, and partners share in the joy of sports. The mission also states that every camp is a chance to inspire the next generation on and off the field.
FlexWork Sports Youth Sports Camps are athlete-led and include a camp team photo with Trey McBride that is emailed as a free download after camp, along with a limited-edition Trey McBride FlexWork Football Camp T-shirt. Campers may also take home items from event sponsors if available, and all campers are grouped according to age. A scholarship program provides free or discounted access to events for families who need financial support. A Parent VIP upgrade allows photos on the court or field and includes two individuals, not including the camper. Registrations are non-refundable but can be converted to a credit valid for one full calendar year from the date of the original event, and camps will move forward rain or shine unless a message is received from the FlexWork Sports team.
FlexWork Sports states that, as a result of camp sponsors, camp upgrades, and patrons, the organization has supported more than $16 million in scholarships across 44 states and 18 countries. One testimonial describes FlexWork Sports as redefining youth sports with athlete-led camps that inspire the next generation, unite families, and create lasting memories on and off the field. Another testimonial from Micah Parsons, identified as a Packers defensive end, states that FlexWork Sports is the best in the business, that many brands claim to be different but aim to be like FlexWork Sports, and that they are the clear industry leader for a reason.
Families are asked to have campers come dressed in athletic attire such as gym shorts and cleats or sneakers. For football, campers should wear a t-shirt, shorts, and athletic shoes such as cleats or sneakers. For baseball, campers should wear baseball attire, a hat, and cleats or sneakers if indoors. For basketball, campers should wear a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers. For volleyball, campers should wear athletic attire, elbow or knee pads, and sneakers. For soccer, campers should wear a t-shirt, shorts, shin guards, and athletic shoes such as cleats or sneakers.
