Alameda Arts

Alameda Arts offers after-school enrichment programming for grades K-5. The program includes a nutritious snack, art instruction, special programs, structured activities, free playtime, indoor and outdoor spaces, and materials such as paint, paper mache, cardboard, Legos, building blocks, games, jewelry making supplies, and melty beads. It also offers Camp by the Beach with giant bubbles, beach walks, nearby park walks, cardboard, craft sticks, Legos, melty beads, games, and art supplies.

• Camp on the Road — rising first through fifth grade campers · A small group of rising first through fifth grade campers join us in the Alameda Arts van to enjoy a variety of different adventures all around the Bay Area.
• Create Like a Kid — grown ups · Launched in 2020 to make space for grown ups to have fun with art.

About the provider

Alameda Arts was born in January 2012. The site names Kate and Hazel as the founders and also lists Jolene Morales, Joanna Morales, Ornella Soto, Elyjah Rayndles, and Ron Whittaker in staff and operations roles. It says the program provides arts enrichment for all while keeping kindness, acceptance, and creativity at the forefront.

The site says staff must pass a Live Scan screening with the Department of Justice and have proof of a negative TB test to work with children. It also says the program is full for the 26-27 school year. Campers may transfer sessions, space permitting. Canceled weeks have a $100 processing fee per week up to 3 weeks. No refunds for beyond 3 cancellations or after March 31, 2026.
