Alameda Ballet Academy offers Dance With Me, Pre-Ballet, Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Ballet 3, Ballet 4, and Ballet 5/6. It also offers Summer Camps for ages 4-12, a 6-Week Saturday Summer Session, Summer Intensive, and Adult Ballet.

About the provider

Alameda Ballet Academy was founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Abra Rudisill. The academy says it is committed to delivering high-quality classical dance education to the community and aims to nurture artistry, self-expression, grace, and musicality while fostering a passion for the art of dance. It also says parents of all ABA families are required to volunteer, and the school has an affiliated performing company, Alameda Civic Ballet.

Students are placed by age, experience, technical development, and at the discretion of the Artistic Director. Students are evaluated twice a year. Performance participation requires a signed Performance Agreement. Parents of younger students are asked to ensure restroom use before class. Tardiness is recorded and may affect participation or enrollment status. Parents of all ABA families are required to volunteer. No underwear under leotards and tights is described for aesthetic and practical reasons.
