Alameda Boys & Girls Club

Alameda Boys & Girls Club offers activities that include Trauma-Informed Care and Mental Health Services, Esports Competitive Gaming and Teamwork, and Music Education and Audio Engineering in the Recording Studio. Alameda Boys & Girls Club has been serving youth since 1949 and describes itself as Building Great Futures Since 1949 and celebrating over 75 years of excellence in service to the youth of its communities. The organization states that ensuring child safety is fundamental to its mission. It reports that 94% of kids say they feel safe being themselves at the Club, 92% say the staff genuinely care about them, 96% say they enjoy coming, 94% say there are fun programs available, and 100% say they feel accepted for who they are. Alameda Boys & Girls Club states that it provides a place where all youth, no matter their circumstances, can make discoveries about themselves and engage in educational and recreational activities, all in a setting led by positive role models and leaders and focused on safety, academic support, and character development. The Club also notes that support from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, helps keep programs available year-round for children and teens.
