The Encinal Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program offers activities focused on sailing and competitive racing. Participants engage in learning seamanship, sportsmanship, and sailing skills, while also promoting coastal and marine environmental awareness.

The program, established in 1890, has a mission to instill a lifelong love and respect for sailing, providing fundamental skills for advancement. It is open to both EYC members and non-members. The program has been recognized as a 4-time winner of the PICYA Admiral Chester Nimitz Trophy for being the 'Most Outstanding Junior Sailing Program in the Bay!'
