LEAP Math and Reading offers math tutoring, English tutoring, an Early Learners program, LEAP Study Hall, and Parents Night Out. The program focuses on math and English only, using a personalized structured curriculum with a step-by-step scaffolding structure that follows modern Common Core standards and was developed in the past ten years. Each instructor works with just three to four students in small group sessions, and students complete focused practice based on assessments, followed by review, correction, and guided support for improvement.

The Early Learners program is designed for ages 3 to 5 to prepare for kindergarten, and children in this program must be potty trained and able to use the bathroom independently. LEAP Study Hall is offered on Mondays, and Parents Night Out is offered on Fridays. The program includes home practice that reinforces progress.
LEAP Math and Reading is led by a credentialed educator and guided by experience from inside Alameda Unified School District classrooms. The leadership team includes Owner/Director Michelle Poh and Owner/Assistant Director Jack Liu, and families meet with Center Director Ms. Poh for an initial assessment. The program is woman-owned and family operated, with owners Michelle and Jack living in the community with their three kids.
According to parent feedback, families describe LEAP Math and Reading as a family-run business, and several parents report that their children look forward to sessions, enjoy the homework, and feel comfortable during tutoring.
