Lim's Taekwondo offers Olympic style Taekwondo using traditional Taekwondo methods, with classes that include sparring, forms class, and self defense. Students take part in Taekwondo style Bootcamp classes and practice activities such as reviewing forms, practicing kicking, running, and doing push ups and sit ups. The program also includes Color Belt Testing and Black Belt testing, with high quality digital photos provided for all students free of charge during testing days.

• Schedule: Color Belt Testing is scheduled for Saturday July 31st from 10am–12pm for all classes from Baby Tiger through Junior Class.

Lim's Taekwondo was founded by 9th Degree Black Belt Grandmaster Chris Lim, who began practicing Taekwondo at the age of 4 and has 50 years of experience in practicing and teaching the martial art. The leadership team includes Grand Master Chris Lim (Founder, 9th Degree Black Belt), Master John D'Amario (Instructor, 6th Degree Black Belt), Master Min Tran (Instructor, 4th Degree Black Belt), Dr. Joe Kim, Master (Instructor, 4th Degree Black Belt), Carlos Vadillo (Assistant Instructor, 4th Degree Black Belt, Webmaster), Ygnaxio Vergara (Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt), Jimmy Hyung (Assistant Instructor, 3rd Degree Black Belt), Steve Fong (Event Organizer), Malcom Lopez-Lang (Photographer), and Junee Vergara (Office Manager). The program emphasizes HONOR, MODESTY, DETERMINATION, DISCIPLINE, and RESPECT, and instructors emphasize respect and integrity. The mission includes teaching Olympic style Taekwondo for students of all ages, supporting martial art goals at any experience level, and focusing in the kids and teen programs on self discipline, confidence, non-violent resolutions to conflict, moral and ethical uses of Taekwondo, and discipline in school and at home. Lim's Taekwondo notes that it is one of the most prestigious Taekwondo academies in the Bay Area and that it is going to embrace digital systems, including digital and online payment systems. The program states that its team will have a photographer who uploads photos as soon as testing is completed so families can spend more time being in the moment with the students.

Grand Master Chris Lim holds a 2022 9th Degree Kukkiwon Certification and has a record that includes serving as California State Tae Kwon Do Team Chairman of Coaches from 2007–2018 and California Unified Tae Kwon Do Association Head Coach from 1990–2007. His competitive and professional background includes being a Korean-American Olympic Championship Gold Medalist in 1989, 1991, and 1993, a 25-time National and State Gold Medalist in Korea from 1978–1987, a member of the Korean Army National Team from 1982–1985, and a member of the Korean State High School National Team from 1978–1981, as well as earning a Certified Referee & Teaching Degree in 1985. The program expresses appreciation to families for their patience and for continuing to be part of its community and family.
