Rising Fire Flag Football is a recreational NFL Flag and San Francisco 49ers flag football program. The program focuses on flag football games and practices, with practices held right before each game on the same day.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: One-day commitment on Sundays, with practices and games held on the same day
The program’s mission states that it is dedicated to providing a non-contact experience that fosters athletic development, emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, and that it aims for every child to feel safe, heard, and valued. Rising Fire Flag Football is open to boys and girls ages 4–14 from all cities and towns in the region, including Albany Unified School District, West Contra Costa County School District, Berkeley Unified School District, and neighboring communities. All teams in the program are eligible for the Championship Game Weekend.
