Alhambra School of Music and Arts offers music lessons in instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, violin, cello, ukulele, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, French horn, bass, and oboe, as well as voice and songwriting lessons. The program also offers group piano, guitar, and vocal ensembles, a preschool music class, in-home lessons, semi-annual performances, recitals, and music-themed fundraisers. Families can access instrument rentals, instrument repairs, space rentals, and gift cards through the school.

The Alhambra School of Music and Arts has been serving students since 1990 and has been a community staple for over 30 years, proudly serving Alhambra, Pasadena, San Marino, San Gabriel, Monterey Park and surrounding areas since 1993. The school is family-owned and operated and uses a Student Portal for lesson notes, homework, sheet music, and recordings, along with its LessonRewind proprietary platform and a Practice Challenge ™ to supplement learning. It offers multiple, low-pressure performances throughout the year, including semi-annual performances across all programs, quarterly recital and performance opportunities, and quarterly progress reports.
The teaching staff includes highly-credentialed, professional music teachers, with teachers holding credentials from top conservatories around the world and decades of experience. All highly qualified piano teachers have university degrees in music, and many hold Masters Degrees and Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degrees. The leadership and faculty team includes Dr. Regina (Academy Director, Doctorate of Musical Arts), Dr. Wendy (Strings Faculty, Doctorate of Musical Arts), Ms. Wendy (Strings Faculty, Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance), Mr. Jon (Guitar & Uke Faculty, Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar), and Dr. Aleksandra (Voice & Piano Faculty, Doctorate of Musical Arts and Doctorate of Musical Pedagogy).
Alhambra School of Music and Arts is a Steinway & Sons Educational and Teaching Partner and a designated Steinway & Sons Teaching and Educational Partner.
