Children's Montessori Center offers authentic Montessori classrooms with practical life activities, sensorial materials, language arts, mathematics, cultural studies, and bilingual instruction in Spanish and Chinese. The Infant & Toddler Program includes gentle toilet learning support, outdoor exploration, and nature play every day, and the daily lunch program is included.
Programs
- Infant & Toddler Program — 6 weeks to 3 years · Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM · Up to 14 children with 2 guides. Practical life activities, sensorial materials, language-rich environment, gentle toilet learning support, outdoor exploration and nature play every day.
- Primary Program — 3 to 6 years · Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM · Up to 24 children with 2 guides. Language arts, mathematics, bilingual instruction in Spanish and Chinese, cultural studies, and practical life activities.
- Extended Day Program — 3 to 6 years · Mon-Fri, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the provider
Children's Montessori Center has served Alhambra families since 1980, with over 45 years of service. It is led by Sheela Perera, Founder & Head of School, who has over 20 years of Early Childhood and Montessori Education experience. The center is licensed by the California Department of Social Services, uses Montessori-trained teaching staff, and has health and safety inspections each year.
Enrollment is open for the 2026–2027 school year. Tours are offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings by appointment. Applications are accepted year-round. Please contact us for current tuition rates. Sibling discounts and limited financial assistance are offered.
