Dream Team is a middle school AAU basketball program that focuses on elite basketball training, mentorship, leadership development, and Manhood Development workshops. The program also includes basketball camps and combines elite competition with Manhood Development workshops. Dream Team includes a Dream Team Girls Program and is described as a movement designed to expand what young people believe is possible.

Dream Team is the only completely free Middle School AAU basketball program in California, with no fees and no barriers. The program’s mission states that through elite basketball training, mentorship, leadership development, and real-life experiences, it exposes players to what is possible on and off the court and focuses on building confident young leaders prepared for life. The leadership team includes founder and workshop coach Jareem Gunter (Director and Founder), 14u coach and founding coach Aaron Dalton, and 13u coach Bob Clevelend.
Jareem Gunter is a nationally recognized educator, author, and community leader with over 20 years of experience empowering young men to embrace manhood with purpose and integrity, and he is the author of The Man Book. His work has reached classrooms, communities, and Capitol Hill, where he trained educators on engaging and supporting boys of color, and in 2017 he was awarded the Fellowship for The Campaign for Black Male Achievement. Jareem Gunter was also awarded Positive Coaching Alliance 2025 National Coach of the Year. Aaron Dalton is a high-performance basketball coach who trained under Lakers assistant coach Phil Handy, has coached professional, college, and youth players, has been involved with Warriors basketball camps across Northern California, and played professionally in the CIBAPAC league in Mexico in August 2021. Coach Bob is an educator, mentor, and basketball coach with over 20 years of high school coaching experience and is currently the JV Girls Basketball Coach at Antioch High School.
