Sherrie’s Dance Studio

Sherrie’s Dance Studio offers recreational classes and competitive classes. The program takes place at Sherrie’s Dance Studio and focuses on teaching the art of dance through these class options. Each class challenges dancers to improve and master basic skills and positions to become a good dancer, with many opportunities to perform, to advance, and to grow as an individual.

Sherrie’s Dance Studio was established in 1980. The studio is led by Sherrie, a life-long resident of the Richmond / El Sobrante area, who was trained by the locally famous Matilda Meyer Dance Studio of Richmond. Each of Sherrie’s Dance Studio’s teachers is an adult, and each teacher has a blend of years of teaching experience, talent, enthusiasm, and love, and teachers are described as talented, caring professionals. Sherrie’s Dance Studio’s instructors take pride in offering a quality dance education through both recreational classes and competitive classes, with a main focus on building self-esteem and confidence in dancers, teaching them the art of dance, and educating students in skills needed for a successful life, whether or not they stay involved in dance.
