Josephine Guzman Youth Center (JGYC) – Empower Gymnastics offers gymnastic classes that include WildKat classes for 3 to 5 year olds and Skill classes for ages 6 and over. The program is the home of the Empower Gymnastics Team, which includes the Empower Program competitive team and has produced State, Regional and National Champions. The center also hosts Birthday Parties, Kids Nite Out events, and offers a trial tumble option and morning classes for 3 to 5 year olds.

The program is led by Josephine Guzman. Its stated mission is to empower, educate, inspire and support East Bay youth through programs that build mind and body. Families can use the Parent Portal to sign up for classes, change classes, register for Kids Nite Out events, or sign up for a $10 trial class. The program has been recognized as Best of Antioch, with thanks expressed for support from the Antioch Chamber of Commerce. With donations, the center states a goal of allowing children from any economic background to become part of an after school environment involving sports and academics.
