First Steps Preschool

First Steps Preschool offers monthly Bible lessons and weekly chapel. It accepts children from 2 years of age up to 5 years and includes half-day and full-day schedules, with half days from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and full days from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Families provide lunch, and two snacks per day are provided.

About the provider

First Steps Preschool was founded in the late 1990s, officially opened in November 1999, and became full time in January 2000. The preschool director is Allison Moreno, who has an AA in Childhood Development and over 12 years in early childhood education. The school is licensed and states that its goal and mission is to provide Christ-centered early childhood education while being safe, nurturing, and rooted in Christian faith.

Enrolls all children of the community regardless of race, color, or creed. No financial assistance is offered. Allergy lists are posted in every classroom; severe allergies may be accommodated by informing the director. Registration flyer and FAQ are mentioned.
