Thurmond Music offers music lessons that include piano, guitar, voice, violin, clarinet, flute, and drums lessons. The program also offers musical theater class, band, strings, group classes, private lessons, group performance classes, lessons for Lil' Mozarts, and several different types of summer music programs and camps, including full day camp and half day camp options. Instruction is available in person or online in a setting described as a fun and easy environment to learn and enjoy music.

Lessons for Lil' Mozarts are offered for ages 4–6. Music lessons are available for ages 7–18 as private lessons from elementary through high school, and lessons for adults are offered for ages 18 and up. Thurmond Music offers flexible scheduling and is open year round, with several opportunities each year for students to perform on a professional stage.
Instructors at Thurmond Music have served the surrounding community for over 15 years. Many instructors hold advanced music degrees from some of the best music schools in the world and are selected for their accreditation, high degrees, years of teaching experience, and ability to show care and attention to their students. Instructor Kim Acuña is highlighted as an extremely talented performer and vocalist with a degree in music performance with an emphasis on voice, who has performed numerous works for television, film, and theater, has traveled and performed around the world, has appeared in musicals including Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, and The Sound of Music, and also does voice acting.
