Adventure Camp Menlo Park includes outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding, paddling, biking, and rock climbing. Campers use top-of-the-line gear specifically sized for kids, and they can either bring their own bikes or borrow from the camp’s fleet, which accommodates campers of any size. Every activity starts with a discussion about risks, prevention, and response, and campers also learn about flora and fauna and Leave No Trace principles.

The sample weekly activity schedule includes hiking on Monday, kayaking on Tuesday, biking on Wednesday, Stand Up Paddleboarding on Thursday, and biking again on Friday, with games and challenges plus instruction in proper strokes and rescue techniques during Stand Up Paddleboarding. Campers are grouped by grade, with 2nd–4th graders concentrating on getting comfortable with new activities and 5th–7th graders focusing on teamwork and deepening their technical competence, and programs evolve as campers grow from age 3 to 17. Parents and campers meet staff at a consistent location daily, Avid4 Adventure provides transportation to and from beautiful recreation areas for the adventure sport at hand, and campers return to the same meeting place for afternoon pick up.
