Explorer Camp Menlo Park includes outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and biking, along with yoga, art, and music. The program balances these adventure sports with creative activities throughout the week.
• Ages: 5–7 years old
• Schedule: One-week sessions, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, with extended care available 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Price: One Week Price $840; Early Drop Off (starting at 8 AM) $40; After Care (pick up 3:00–6:00 PM) $115; Avid4 Merch (delivery at camp, prices vary, tax included)
A sample weekly schedule includes biking on Monday morning and yoga Monday afternoon; art Tuesday morning and stand-up paddleboarding Tuesday afternoon; hiking Wednesday morning and yoga Wednesday afternoon; art Thursday morning and biking Thursday afternoon; and kayaking Friday morning and music Friday afternoon. The program strongly encourages campers to bring their own bike for biking day and asks that any training wheels be removed before camp. Instructors are all 18 and older with safety and skills training, and the camper-to-staff ratio is 5:1.
