Avid4 Adventure Day Camps offers Explorer Camp for children entering kindergarten or 1st grade, with activities that include hiking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, biking, yoga, art, and music. About the provider
Avid4 Adventure says it was born from a desire to give kids a love of outdoor activity and to ensure the future caretaking of the planet. The mission statement says the program is on a mission to get kids excited and empowered by outdoor adventure. The program is a Certified B Corp, its summer camps are accredited by the American Camp Association, and it was named among Colorado Parent’s Top 5 Sports Camps.
Camps for K-7th grade kids consist of 2 instructors with no more than 13-14 kids. For younger kids, Pre-K-1st grade, the ratio is 1 instructor with no more than 6 kids. The program states campers must be 5 by the start of camp for Explorer Camp. The site also states challenge by choice and an inclusive environment.
