About
Avid4 Adventure Camps offers a mix of outdoor activities including survival skills, navigation, animal tracking, tool making, fire building and safety, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, paddling, stand up paddle board, and biking. Campers practice tracking animals, identifying scat, finding food and medicine in the wild, fashioning utensils and shelter from gathered materials, and flintknapping. Survival Skills summer camp focuses on teaching campers about the power and value of the natural world as they learn to survive and thrive outdoors, and campers spend a full week exploring and learning essential survival skills to keep them self-reliant and safe in the wilderness.

Avid4 Adventure states that it does everything in its power to keep kids safe but does not “pack them up in bubble wrap,” instead giving them the knowledge and confidence to take calculated, well-communicated risks.
