Summer at SHS

Summer at SHS offers individual sports clinics where students can take part in basketball, football, lacrosse, swimming, and tennis. Some lessons and workshops in these clinics are led by SHP athletes. The program takes place over three week-long sessions beginning June 8, 2026, with both morning and afternoon camps available each week.

Since 1898, Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton (SHS) has educated students. Sacred Heart Schools Atherton offers many options for rising Preschool through Grade 8 summer students, and Summer at SHS is open to the public, with registration open for 2026. The school is part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools and the Sacred Heart Network Exchange, and it is a Catholic, independent, co-ed day school for students in preschool through grade 12. The mission of SHS is “Fueling intellect, faith, and values in students for a more just and caring world.” SHS is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA), and the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC), and the campus spans 63 acres.

The leadership team connected with the program includes Kyle Kalmbach, Assistant Principal of Academics P–8; Myra Syed, Director of Strategy and Academic Systems; Douglas Hosking, Assistant Principal Community Life; and Sean McMillan, Assistant Athletic Director, Facilities and Operations. Summer academic courses at SHS enable students to focus in-depth and prepare for the coming school year.
