Camp Cherry Valley offers Scout BSA Resident Camp, Cub Scout Resident Camp, merit badge classes, kayaking, archery, environmental science, snorkeling, sailing, canoeing, swimming, rifle shooting, and hiking. The camp also lists canoe, rowboat, and ocean kayak use in its boating program, with certified swimmers required to use them.

Camp Cherry Valley says, "Where Adventures Shape Leaders." Since 1923, it has been a place where Scouts grow in confidence, build lifelong friendships, and discover their own strengths. For over 100 years, it has welcomed over one million youth to Cherry Cove on Santa Catalina Island.
Scout BSA Resident Camp and Cub Scout Resident Camp are offered in 2027. Camp Cherry Valley is at 1 Cherry Valley Road, Avalon, CA 90704. Summer 2027 dates are listed. The camp is on Santa Catalina Island in Cherry Cove.
