Camp Emerald Bay is a program that has served Scouts, school children, and other visitors for more than 100 years. It is co-located with Emerald Bay Outdoor Academy, which offers a curriculum focused on leadership, character development, and the marine and earth sciences. An online Camp Store offers Camp Emerald Bay merchandise such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and plushies.
Camp Emerald Bay is a proud camp of Scouting America Western Los Angeles County Council and is professionally operated by the Western Los Angeles County Council along with Camp Whitsett, serving over 18,000 visitors annually and 10,000 Scouts from across Los Angeles County. The camp and program leadership includes Camp and Program Director Linnea Heinstedt, the WLACC Camping Department, and Jeff Lee. Mail to Camp Emerald Bay is handled with specific carriers, as mail sent via FedEx Ground will not be delivered, while UPS Ground, UPS Air, or FedEx Air will be accepted.
