Azusa Montessori Academy Preschool Programs offers Montessori method activities along with creative curriculum and Reggio Emilia activities. The program also includes a Summer Camp session that runs on specific summer dates.

• Schedule: Full-day and part-day options, plus a Summer Camp session from July 1 to August 15
• Price: The half-day State Preschool program services are FREE for ALL qualifying families. Starting July 2014 there is no longer a fee for the half-day State Preschool program.
Azusa Montessori Academy opened its doors for operation in July 2006. The mission of Azusa Montessori Academy Preschool Programs is to provide an education based on Montessori and Child Development Methods for children from birth through kindergarten in a carefully prepared nurturing environment which aids in the development of each child’s unique individual potential in all areas of life; so as to prepare the child not just for school but for life. Teachers possess a degree in Early Childhood/Child Development, or hold a minimum of a Teacher’s Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and the site supervisor holds a bachelor’s degree in child development and state credentials that enable supervision. The leadership team includes Erick, who serves as the site supervisor for Azusa Montessori. The program offers a high quality preschool program, Transitional Kindergarten, healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks served daily, a unique blend of Montessori method and creative curriculum/Reggio Emilia activities, resource and referral services to community services at low or no cost, and a distance learning enrollment option. Parents volunteer their time both independently and through the school’s Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), and the school offers a list of referral services to families who are interested in using community services at low or no cost.
