For more than 50 years, the legacy Clubs Challengers, Bell Gardens, Watts, and Venice have served their neighborhoods. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles states that its mission is to bridge the opportunity gap for resource-limited youth by providing safe, empowering spaces to learn, explore, and dream, and by offering programs in academics, leadership, and wellness in partnership with the community. The organization reports that each year more than 3,000 youth walk through their Club doors and that 100% of surveyed parents say they would recommend their Clubs to others. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles notes that it is celebrating 10 years united in 2026 and that every high school senior across all Clubs graduates on time with a post-graduate plan.
