• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Competitive teams begin light training after tryouts and through the spring, averaging twice per week, with non-mandatory spring practices averaging once per week; formal twice-weekly practices generally begin after Team Camp week in August, and families are asked to be available for tournaments and all league games between August and early December.
The mission of Tiburon Peninsula Soccer Club Youth Soccer Programs is to provide a fun, safe and developmental youth soccer program in the Tiburon Peninsula area, with a focus on sportsmanship, respect and fair play. Recreational soccer is described as the least intense soccer experience offered by the club, generally not involving tournaments except for the year-end Jamboree for 3rd grade and older teams. Recreational players in kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade play other teams within TPSC and the Corte Madera Rec League, 3rd–6th grade recreational teams play with TPSC, Corte Madera and Mill Valley Soccer recreational teams, and recreational players in 7th–12th grade participate in MISA. Each TPSC MISA team has a professional coach for both of their twice-a-week training sessions, with volunteer parent coaches coaching weekend games. Competitive teams travel to games throughout the northern Bay Area counties, may play in tournaments throughout northern California, register with US Club Soccer, and play in the NorCal Premier League. All competitive teams begin light training after tryouts and through the spring, have optional and formal practice phases, and all teams are officially re-selected from scratch each season, with players sometimes added after tryouts at the discretion of the club and with approval from the Director of Coaching.

Parents of competitive players are responsible for paying for uniforms, tournaments, and traveling expenses for themselves and their coach for tournaments.
