AcroCats Gymnastics offers youth gymnastics programs that focus on structured gymnastics training. Classes take place at the AcroCats Gymnastics gym and follow organized systems to track progress and develop skills at a set pace. The program is a member of USA Gymnastics and follows its national guidelines in its youth gymnastics programs.
• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Class options are available Monday through Friday in the afternoon and evening, with additional morning and afternoon options on Saturday and Sunday.
AcroCats Gymnastics was founded by co-owners Leesa Berahovich and Sam Hunt. Leesa has over 40 years of coaching experience, is a high-rated gymnastics judge, and has been selected to judge Level 10 Nationals in 2026. Sam has 15 years of coaching experience and is described as a skilled spotter. Additional staff experience includes Cisco, who has 9 years of experience in calisthenics; Naima, who has a bachelor’s degree in dance; and Bella, who has 13 years of experience in dance, including 9 years at the Stage Door Dance Studio and 4 years on a high school varsity dance team. Other staff education includes Leo, who has a bachelor’s degree in Plant Science from UC Davis; Jason, who holds a certificate in teaching, a master’s degree in applied math, and a bachelor’s degree in economics; and several staff members who are current college students in fields such as legal studies, political science, microbial biology, and mathematics. Caralyn was a competitive gymnast, and Kayla has 5 years of competitive gymnastics experience with Gymstars Gymnastics.
The program states that it offers high-quality youth gymnastics programs that emphasize beautiful gymnastics in a safe, positive, and structured environment. It focuses on proper technique and building strength from the start, using structured systems to track progress and develop skills at the right speed. The gym notes that athletes are intended to feel respected, challenged, and supported. As a member of USA Gymnastics, AcroCats Gymnastics follows that organization’s national guidelines. Makeups are available, pending availability, for missed classes while a child is currently enrolled. Families are auto-billed month-to-month upon registering until they notify the program of withdrawal, and the drop policy requires 2 weeks written notice, or a drop through the portal, to avoid incurring additional charges.
