About
Brazilian Soccer Camp focuses on soccer and mental development for young people. The camp teaches the best of Brazilian soccer and includes instruction that is based on each child’s skills, needs, and level of challenge. Participants learn within a team setting where soccer is treated as a complex game that involves quick decisions, information processing, and real-time problem solving.
• Ages: 7–15 years old
• Schedule: 3 weeks starting June 8th
At Brazilian Soccer Camp, players are expected to constantly assess game situations and make strategic decisions based on their observations. The program emphasizes that soccer requires emotional control and regulation, and that playing as part of a team involves communication, cooperation, and leadership. The camp highlights that regular exercise is linked to improved mood, reduced stress and anxiety, and better sleep patterns. It also states that young people need proper training, supervision, and appropriate safety equipment to prevent injuries, and that a healthy approach to competition and winning should emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
Marcelio Ramos and his staff run Brazilian Soccer Camp. The mission of the camp is stated as “Soccer and Mental Development for Young People.”
