About

Brick Tech LEGO Camps and Classes offers LEGO classes and LEGO camps that include guided LEGO projects, structured play time, robotics, engineering, and programming using LEGO bricks. The program uses custom LEGO kits tailored for each participant, with each child receiving their own set of gears, motors, and Technic pieces, while bulk parts are used for decorations and basic bricks. Robots in the program are constructed and programmed using LEGO bricks, and each project includes an optional challenge that extends learning beyond the base build, along with structured playtime to personalize creations and collaborate with peers.

• Ages: 5–12 years old

At Brick Tech LEGO Camps and Classes, the mission is to inspire and captivate the imagination of every child in the program by utilizing LEGO to explain STEM and robotics concepts. This mission is carried out through a combination of guided LEGO projects and structured play time in a safe and fun learning environment, with an emphasis on learning by doing. The program embraces the Learning Through Play initiative put forth by the LEGO Foundation and states a goal of inspiring the brilliant minds of tomorrow in a safe and fun learning environment. All summer camp registration is conducted through Berkeley Parks and Recreation Department.
