Shellie Onstead is the Director and Head Coach. She is the Head Coach at U.C. Berkeley, a former U.S.A. National Field Hockey Team player, and has coached at Cal since 1983. The program has been open since 1983 at Cal. Its credentials include five Nor Pac Conference Coach of the Year awards, eight NCAA appearances, a consistent Top 20 ranking, and a 1999 U.S.A. Field Hockey National Coach of the Year honor.
