Eastshore Alliance Fútbol Club (EAFC) was established in 2023 when two historic local youth soccer clubs, Spurs FC and Mavericks SC, united. EAFC has licensed coaches and states a mission to provide growth, development, and positive change within the community. The club serves families across Berkeley, El Cerrito, Albany, Richmond, San Pablo, and surrounding communities and describes itself as community-built, player-centered, and community driven, with values that include integrity, respect, growth-mindset, and collaboration. EAFC describes a vision to support youth soccer players in becoming the best version of themselves and to support the development of the total player, including academics and character, so they can play at the highest possible level, and it presents itself as a top level competitive club with a robust, year-round program and a platform to train players to compete locally, regionally, and nationally.

Mini Allies is described as a joyful, play-based introduction to soccer for toddlers and preschoolers. Grassroots focuses on developing fundamental soccer skills in a fun and engaging environment. Junior Allies is described as a pre-competitive program that bridges the gap between recreational and competitive soccer, and the Competitive Program offers a pathway for committed players to train, develop, and compete at a higher level.

Parent testimonials describe the coaches as stellar and note that they give personal one-on-one time to players throughout the year to confer with them and challenge them to strive for excellence and achieve it. Other parents describe the club as well organized, say their children love their coaches and are excited to go to practice, and say their children enjoy coming home to show new skills learned at practice. Additional feedback from parents mentions great structure for kids to learn about soccer, get better, and be full of confidence, and describes the coaches and administration as excellent, with a mix of player development and teaching the sport the right way. EAFC also describes itself as “one alliance stronger together through the beautiful game that unites us all.”
