Summer Musical Theater Camps

Summer Musical Theater Camps include learning songs, learning dance, learning choreography, and learning songs and scenes. Campers create stories, take part in monologue and group work, do arts & crafts, and socialize with friends. Some sessions also include vocal lessons and Triple Threat Musical Theater Camp, which explores what it takes to be a “triple threat” performer who can act, sing, and dance. Camps will be held in-person.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Summer 2025 Musical Theater Camps offer 1-week, 2-week, and 3-week story-based and Triple Threat camps between 6/2 and 8/8, with specific themes inspired by Ratatouille, The Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and Into the Woods. Before-Care is offered from 8–9am Monday–Friday, and After-Care is offered from 3–6pm Monday–Thursday, with pre-registration required for the full week for any extended care.

The Playhouse community shows their love for the Julia Morgan Theater, its musicals, and related programs. Families and audience members describe Berkeley Playhouse as an intimate theater that produces large stage shows, with some noting that they regularly drive an hour to attend musicals there.
